Meet your guide, Katherine Rohland
Hi, I'm Katherine Rohland, also known as The Manhattan Medicine Woman.
I'm a fertility expert and Chinese medicine practitioner dedicated to resolving reproductive issues like infertility, endometriosis (Endo), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and more. Additionally, I help alleviate painful and irregular periods, PMS, bloating, digestive issues, and anxiety/stress.
Holding an M.S., L.Ac., and specialized certifications in areas like gynecology, nutrition, pediatrics, and advanced classical practices within Chinese medicine, my expertise is well-rounded and deeply rooted. I am beyond qualified to be speaking on this subject, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing women achieve their optimum potential in health so that they can show up in the world as their best self mentally and physically and chase down their personal and professional dreams.
I developed the Femergy Framework after a personal battle with amenorrhea and infertility that lasted nearly two years. Despite being on birth control for over a decade to manage irregular and extremely painful periods, my efforts to conceive were fruitless once I stopped taking it. My period didn't return, and when I sought medical advice, I learned a hard truth about general medicine: the allopathic diagnose-and-medicate approach isn't enough. It treats symptoms, not the underlying causes. I was diagnosed with low estrogen, and instead of investigating the root of this issue, I was simply prescribed more medication—an approach that clearly conflicted with my goal of getting pregnant!
Frustrated but motivated, I sought alternatives. I ventured down the functional medicine route, working with naturopaths, energy healers, and more, to no avail. I thought to myself there HAS to be a different and BETTER way. Something that's actually EFFECTIVE. And there was... this is it.
Driven by my personal experience, I got educated AF. I've been both the pioneer and the first success story of this methodology, which has since empowered countless women to overcome reproductive health issues previously deemed incurable.
